The Chinese mainland pop diva Zhang Liangying announced on Monday the launch of her Beijing-Shanghai concert tour at the year end, the sina.com reported.

The singer, acclaimed for her cool imitation of Mariah Carey's high voice, made the announcement in Beijing.

Zhang Liangying, under the Huayi Brothers, a mainland entertainment giant, is scheduled to hold her solo concert in Beijing on Dec.6 and in Shanghai on Dec. 13.

In addition to her latest singles, the singer will also perform movie theme hits sung by her, including the theme song for box office hit "Painted Skin" which rolled into the cinema a few weeks ago.

The pop icon will also release her new album during the two-stop tour.
