Adjust font size:

The popular Taiwan songwriter Wang Zhongyan has penned more than 200 memorable sets of lyrics for well-known Chinese singers such as Faye Wong, Rene Liu and Jackie Chan.

Her best-known works include "Endless Love," the song for Jackie Chan's martial arts epic "The Myth" Jeff Chang's "Don't Talk to Him" and Sky Wu's "Blue Bird."

Now, as one of the experts who will select original theme songs for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, Wang is in town to write lyrics for some of the scores.

Born in 1966, Wang started her career as an entertainment reporter before she got involved in song writing, music production and concert planning.

She has conducted interviews with many international stars, including Michael Jackson, members of U2, Sting, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Zhang Ziyi.

Wang revealed that as the art director of the entertainment company Mediacast Inc, she will promote promising local singers and actors such as Fang Yuan and Hu Jun.
