Entertainment Weekly has named its "10 Breakout Stars of 2008" and the list includes an actor who wants to suck your blood, a singer looking for a boy from America, a tween star known to hang out with three brothers – and even a dog who lives the good life in the 90210.

Robert Pattinson: Topping the magazine's list is the "Twilight" star. The 22-year-old actor is set to play Edward Cullen in the big screen adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's insanely popular book series. Robert's fans have been known to wait for hours to catch a glimpse of him, shriek and squeal at almost inhuman volume levels when they finally do see the British actor and even cause riots in malls if he's nearby.

Demi Lovato: Demi burst on to the tween scene in the Disney Channel's "Camp Rock" television movie, starring alongside the Jonas Brothers. The young star, who also dropped her album, "Don't Forget" in 2008, will be seen in the upcoming movie, "Princess Protection Program."

Russell Brand: The British funny man had audiences in hysterics in this summer's "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," along with hosting MTV's VMAs. He will revive his "Sarah Marshall" role in the upcoming "Get Him to the Greek."

Estelle: Estelle's debut album, "Shine," paired her with some of music's greats including, Mark Ronson, will.i.am. and Kanye West on her hit single, '‘American Boy.'' She toured with Gym Class Heroes and the Roots in 2008.

Shailene Woodley: The TV version of "Juno," Shailene burst onto the scene playing a pregnant teen on ABC Family's hit show, "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."

David Cook: Cook nabbed a whopping 55 million votes to beat out David Archuleta for the crown of "American Idol." He told EW that his fans can expect to see the real David on his upcoming self-titled album, saying, "This record is me. I have found a calm in it that people thought I had on the show.'

Tristan Wilds: The former "Wire" star has viewers tuning in to see him navigate through the world of Beverly Hills teen angst in the new "90210." The young actor was also seen in 2008's "The Secret Life of Bees" with Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah and Dakota Fanning.

Kat Dennings: Kat had a busy year in 2008, starring in "The House Bunny" and "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist." The young actress will be seen next in the upcoming "The Dream of the Romans" with "Juno's" Olivia Thirlby.

Chelsea Handler: The comedienne hit the big time with her hit late-night talk show, "Chelsea Lately." The funny gal has also inked a deal to star in ABC's TV adaptation of the hit online series, "In the Motherhood."

Angel: Proving the magazine's list isn't just for humans, the four-year-old Angel was the top dog as the box office this year, pulling in more than $88 million dollars with her hit family film, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua." She might have played a posh pooch in the Disney hit, but her trainer told the mag it was all acting. '‘She'd rather run around and play with sticks than hang out in little pink dresses,' trainer Mike Alexander said.
