Britpop super group Oasis has cancelled gigs scheduled for April 3rd and 5th in Beijing and Shanghai, organizers have confirmed.

Ticket sales for the shows were put to a halt on February 28th. Details on ticket refunds will be announced later according to statement on the official ticketing website emma.cn.

The organizers refused to explain the reason of the cancelation, claiming it's an internal company issue, the web portal Sina.com reported.
