Rihanna and Chris Brown

Relatives of pop star Rihanna were very unhappy about the reunion of her and Chris Brown, after the tumultuous couple was reported last Friday to have spent the weekend together in Miami, according to media reports Tuesday.

Rihanna 's family thought the relationship was over after Brown allegedly battered Rihanna on Feb. 8. and the couple went own ways. However, the separation was very short.

"Everyone wants them to take a break, to cool off," a relative of Rihanna tells People. "No one wants them back together."

"I'm concerned," continues the relative. "I don't want her to make a mistake, and I don't want her to ever go through his again."

A source said that the couple was "definitely together" and working on a reconciliation when the pair spent time at the Star Island mansion of Sean "Diddy" Combs last week, although Brown also did some recording at a studio in the Setai hotel

The couple reportedly left Miami early Monday morning for California and Brown was photographed landing in Burbank.
