Spring Fever in Cannes

Director Lou Ye's latest film Spring Fever will compete for the coveted Palme d'Or prize at the 62nd Cannes film festival next month. The official selection of "in-competition" films for the prestigious French film festival was unveiled on Thursday.

Little is known about the film, but a Chinese-language website, Tom.com said it was shot in Nanjing and is a drama set in 2007 about romantic entanglements between three friends.
