French singing sensation Cyril Niccolai will thrill music fans with his rock original at the upcoming Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week from May 14-18.

Best known to his fans as Gringoire from 'Notre Dame de Paris', the widely acclaimed French musician has mesmerized international audiences across Europe, the United States and Asia with his scintillating acoustic performances.

The singer/actor kicked off his Asian tour last year as Benvolio in musical 'Romeo et Juliette' and has toured Asia extensively, including Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Chinese mainland and Taiwan.

The 26-year-old singer and songwriter from Nice, southern France, is no stranger to Chinese audiences.

He performed to a full-house audience when 'Notre Dame de Paris' opened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and Shanghai Grand Theater in late 2002 and early 2003.

As well as his magnetic voice, Cyril Niccolai also impressed Chinese fans with his active involvement in 'Sino-French culture year' between 2003-2005.

Reportedly, Cyril Niccolai will sing a selection of his favorite tracks at the country music week in Zhangjiajie. They will include the theme song from melodrama 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Aimer' (love), classical Mandarin song, Teresa Teng's 'The Moon Represents My Heart', which he has learned, and a selection from animated movie 'The Lion King', with some of his originals, like 'J' ycrios encoure'.
