Video Games Live (VGL) finally comes to Beijing with a 2-hour-long concert that includes the best music from the most popular video games from 1970 to the present, including Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Warcraft, StarCraft, Mega Man, God of War and Money Island.

Orchestra, choir and soloists will perform together with video footage playing on a big screen. The lighting system will create a fantastic universe-like stage. The leading avatars in the games will also appear, acting out their roles. Audience members will also have the chance to go on stage and play video games.

The concert is hosted by well-known video game musicians Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall. When it first made its debut at the Hollywood Bowl on July 6, 2005, 110,000 fans attended.

Later, it went to Britain, Brazil, New Zealand, and Spain. VGL is also the first American game-themed concert in Asia. Whether you are a music fan or a gaming fan, do not miss it.

Date:7:30pm, Sept 5
Address: The Capital Gymnasium, 5 Baishiqiao Lu, Xizhimenwai, Haidian district, Beijing
