An array of French jeweller Cartier's treasures will go on display at the Palace Museum in Beijing Saturday.

The exhibition, "Cartier Treasures King of Jewellers, Jewellers to Kings", is jointly hosted by the Palace Museum and Cartier. It will feature 346 pieces from the Cartier Collection, including a scroll tiara and a large portique mystery clock, most of which were crafted before the 1970s, said Chang Lingxing, an officer with the museum.

The treasures will fall into four parts, with the first two sections introducing jewels with the European elements. The last two parts will be focused on the treasures which highlight Chinese influence.

The exhibition will last until Nov. 22 in the museum's Meridian Gate Gallery.
