Beijing Consolidate Dominance in North

Mengke Bateer stormed 27 points and 15 rebounds to lead Beijing to a 128-103 win over Shaanxi in the 25th round of the CBA league.

Following the victory, Beijing consolidated their leading place in the north conference with a record of 19-4.

Bateer, who also nipped nine assists, led six teammates to get double digits.

Moore Trey scored a game-high of 37 points, but failed to save Shaanxi from the defeat.

In other matches played on Sunday, Fujian suffered their seventh straight defeat after losing to Jiangsu 110-96 at home.

Birthday boy Liu Wei powered a game-high of 37 points to help Shanghai beat Yunnan 106-98.

Defending champion Guangdong smashed Zhejiang 111-93, while bottom side Dongguan lost to Bayi 118-91.

North powerhouse Jilin upset visiting Henan 118-77, while Liaoning slammed Shandong 115-102.
