Hangzhou to Host International Autumn Tourism Festival

The 2001 International Autumn Tourism Festival will be held from September 15 to October 21 in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang province.

This year's festival will include an osmanthus festival, Mid- autumn Moon Festival, Chrysanthemum Show and an international fireworks show, and other events.

In addition, an international seminar on cooperation between tourism areas and the Hangzhou Tourism Fair will also be held during the festival.

Hangzhou, a city noted for its beautiful scenery, long history and colorful culture, began hosting the annual International Autumn Tourism Festival in 1998.

"Happy Autumn, Romantic Tourism" is the theme of this 2001 festival.
