Oldest Beijing Resident Dies

Guo Jingtong, one of the oldest Beijing residents, died from lung disease on Wednesday at the age of 110. Born in 1891, Guo lived in three centuries and witnessed the highs and lows of the past centuries, according to the Beijing Morning Post reported.

Guo had two sons and 12 grandchildren. His wife died in 1986, aged 86. Guo was living with one of his grandchildren.
