CAAC's Longest Oil Pipeline Built

The longest oil pipeline built by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) was completed and officially approved by the state Tuesday.

The 185-km-long pipeline will link the international airports of Beijing and Tianjin municipalities and is capable of delivering 3.2 million tons of oil each year.

Although its construction costs 470 million yuan, the pipeline will reduce transport costs by about one-third compared with railways.
