China's Air Force One to Take off

China is expected to be the third country, following United States and Japan, to have its own Air Force One, according to a reliable government source.

China's Air Force One, a Boeing 767-300ER, is one of the most advanced model of the Boeing 767 family, said a source with the China's Air Supply Import and Export Corporation.

Air Force One, the special plane for the head of state and initiated by the United States president in 1959, has got worldwide recognition.

Usually, Air Force One is equipped with the most advanced hi-tech facilities including surveillance system to avoid missile attack, guard against interception of enemy fighters, and special data transmission system.

The China Air Supply Import & Export Corporation, the Chinese United Airlines have reached an agreement with an American Airline lately on the purchasing of the Boeing 767-300ER plane, the source said.

The plane, its cabin to be upgraded to VIP status, will be mainly used by China's top leader for domestic flight, the source said.

The Boeing 767-300ER has the most sophisticated fuselage and wings, and is equipped with a powerful engine capable of flying 11,393 kilometers mileage.
