Chongqing to Become Southwest China's Largest Railway Hub

With the inclusion of the Chongqing-Huaihua Railway, Chongqing will become the largest railway hub in southwest China.

The Chongqing Railway Hub links the Chengdu-Chongqing, Guiyang-Chongqing and Xiangfan-Chongqing electrified railways. With the inclusion of the Chongqing-Huaihua and Shuining-Chongqing railways, the mileage of the hub will reach 160km.

Construction of the Chongqing-Huaihua railway is soon to start.

The 624km railway will run from Chongqing to Huaihua in Hunan Province.

On completion, it will become a key part of the national railway network.
