There will be some 41 tourism and cultural activities hosted in major cities and counties across the province November 3-25.

Sponsored by the National Tourism Administration and the provincial government of Hainan, the festival will also feature the beautiful surroundings the area has, like the tropical sun, sea, smooth sandy beaches as well as folk custom and ethnic art.

Statistics show that Hainan, the best winter resort in China, receives more than nine million domestic and overseas tourists every year. It reports an annual tourism revenue of 7.2 billion yuan, accounting for 15.4 percent of its gross domestic product.
