Mental Health Month Launched in Hong Kong

Mental Health Month, a campaign to promote public awareness of the importance of mental health, was launched in Hong Kong Tuesday.

With "Mental Health and Work" as the theme, the campaign is aimed at enhancing the awareness of employers and employees on mental health and understanding the ways to deal with stress.

More than 70 activities, including talks, workshops, exhibitions, recreational activities and visits, will be organized over the next three months to promote a healthy workplace for employers and employees.

The campaign is co-organized by the Health and Welfare Bureau annually with the support of the Hospital Authority, various government departments and non-government bodies.
