A Consistent and Clear Stance Toward Dalai

China’s central government has always adopted a consistent and clear-cut stance toward Dalai Lama, said Logqog, chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region, in Hong Kong Friday.

The door for negotiation with the central government has been always open to Dalai Lama, under the condition that he must abandon the advocation of “Tibet independence” and any separatism activities, and admit that Tibet is an inalienable part of China, said Logqog at a press conference.

Logqog, who is heading a Tibet trade delegation to Hong Kong, said the central government has made much effort to contact Dalai Lama in the past two decades, and the essential reason for Dalai’s lukewarm response lies in his stubborn adherence to “Tibet independence.”

He accused Dalai of creating obstacles for negotiation by contriving the “non-cooperation movement” and “referendum.”

All Dalai’s conducts demonstrate that he has no sincerity of negotiation with the central government and the essence of his separatism activities has never changed, he said.
