China has always supported unity and cooperation among the Arabian countries and appreciated their ceaseless efforts in playing an integrated role in regional and international affairs through enhanced consultations, said Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhu Bangzao Tuesday.

Zhu made the remark here at a regular press conference in response to a question raised by journalists regarding the recently held Arab Summit.

Regarding the current conflict between Israel and Palestine, Zhu said China hopes the two sides would take effective measures to avoid violence, keep the situation from deteriorating and return to the track of solving disputes through dialogs and consultations.
