Chinese Traditional Medicine Help Cure Wild Animals

Chinese traditional medicine has proved to be effective for wild animals, according to sources with the Qinhuangdao Wildlife Park, one of the largest in China.

"Yunnan Baiyao" and "Yunnan Hongyao" are among the most applicable and effective Chinese traditional medicine applied to the wounds of the wild animals, said Zheng Xiaohong, an expert on wildlife in this park.

A lion cub got back on its feet after a week after taking the "Yunnan Hongyao". This medicine also cured a zebra's badly hurt back foot after three weeks.

"The Yunnan Hongyao can effectively stop bleeding, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis," Zheng said.

"Moreover, it is very cheap," the expert added. There are about 6,000 wildlife in the park covering an area of over 300 hectares.
