South Africa Gives Visa-Free Access to Macao Residents

South Africa has granted visa-free access to passport holders of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China, a press release issued Wednesday by the Macao SAR government said.

For the purposes of traveling, business activities and passthrough, holders of the Macao SAR passport can stay in South Africa for up to 30 days each time with visa-free treatment.

In return, the Macao SAR government has given visa-free treatment to South African passport holders who can stay in Macao for up to 30 days.

The mutual visa-free treatment will strengthen business and tourism ties between South Africa and the Macao SAR, the press release said.
