Farmers Get a Science Lesson

The photo shows that She Li, a civil servant from the Agriculture Development Bureau of the Longquanyi District in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, explains livestock epidemic prevention measures to farmers recently.

Sichuan Province has launched a campaign in which hundreds of thousands of well-educated youngsters promote culture, science and technology among farmers.

Nearly 1 million leaflets and 10,000 lectures have been given to more than 600,000 farmers in the campaign, which will end in mid-February.
