ASEAN's Investment in China Totals US$38.22b

By November 2005, ASEAN's actual investment in China totaled US$38.22 billion, involving 26,659 projects, China's Ministry of Commerce announced Monday.

ASEAN's investment in China is mainly from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, the ministry said.

By November 2005, China's investment in ASEAN countries totaled US$1.14 billion, the ministry said.

In the period, Chinese enterprises had signed labor cooperation contracts worth 34.1 billion dollars with ASEAN countries, the ministry said.

Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam are main countries which signed labor cooperation contracts with China, said the ministry.
