Vice Premier Leaves for WEF Annual Meeting

Chinese Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan on Tuesday left Beijing for the 2006 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum scheduled to be held in Davos of Switzerland from Jan 25 to 29.

Zeng will deliver a special speech at the meeting, introducing China's policies and measures on its economic and social development.

About 2,300 political and business leaders from around the world are expected to attend this year's meeting in the posh mountain resort of Davos.
