China's First Fire Museum Opens in Qingdao

China's first fire museum has opened in Qingdao, a port city in east China's Shandong Province.

This museum now has 10 exhibition halls with a total floor space of 2,000 square meters.

In the first phase of construction, the museum has such facilities as an introductory hall, a fire hall, an audio-video hall and a hall in memory of the fighters who laid down their lives in fight against fires.

The museum is characterized by the red color--the color of fight against fires. All inferior decorations feature the typical sign of fire engines and fire hoses.

After the completion of its second phrase constructions, the museum will have more halls including a hall to educate citizens in the fight on fires, a hall to educate children in the fight on fires, and a simulated fire demonstration hall.
