Celebrities to Attend World Three Top Tenors' Concert

On June 23, the world top three tenors Lucianno Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, and Jose Carreras, will perform and sing their praises of the Forbidden City's 2008 Olympic Bid. This concert will be a grand gathering to be on a scale of the biggest and most influential in the new century.

A large galaxy of distinguished guests will lend attraction to the grand concert at the appointed time.

According to the organizer, some world senior statesmen including Chinese President Jiang Zemin, Australian ex-premier Bob Hawke and South African political leader Nelson Mandela will be among attendees at the concert, along with Mexican ex-president Luis Echeverria and Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa.

To the concert there will be no lack of famous film stars, directors, composers, and entrepreneurs without doubt.

As reported, the Chinese government has approved to issue visas to those foreigners having entrance tickets for this concert and foreigners can directly get their visas by showing their entrance tickets when they arrive at Beijing. Currently, the entrance tickets for this concert can be got by net anywhere in the world from two world largest ticket-dealing companies--Ticketmaster and Ticketek and other booking offices.

On the occasion, giant screens will convey the show to over 10,000 people in Beijing University and Chaoyang Park in Beijing, while expected Chinese audiences of some one billion will watch the performance through live broadcast on two channels CCTV-3 and CCTV-5.
