US$854 Mln of Trade Deals Clenched at Xiamen Fair

By midday Tuesday, some US$854 millionworth of foreign trade deals had been clenched at the Fifth China International Investment and Trade Fair, which opened on September 8 in this port city of Xiamen in east China.

Of the total, contractual exports amounted to US$755 million , up 40 percent from the same period of the previous session.

So far, a total of 1,526 deals have been inked at the investment and trade fair involving a total investment worth US$12.8 billion with US$10.6 billion of foreign funds.

The number of projects with an investment of more than US$10 million each signed at the fair totaled 272.
