HK Legislative Council By-election Concluded

The Hong Kong Legislative Council (LegCo) by-election for a vacancy in the election committee completed successfully Sunday night.

The by-election was held to return a LegCo member to fill a vacancy arising from the resignation of Professor Ng Ching-fai.

A total of 694 voters, making up 89.6 percent of the eligible voters, voted in the election.

Three candidates, namely Messrs Ho Sai-chu, Ma Fung-kwok and Chan Man-hung took part in the election and Mr. Ma won with 359 votes.

Messrs Ho Sai-chu and Chan Man-hung got 294 and 34 votes respectively.
