Top Party Officials Elected in East China Province

The first plenary session of the 10th Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) elected its new leadership Monday.

Hui Liangyu was elected secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, while Ji Yunshi, Li Yuanchao, Wang Shouting, Liang Baohua and Ren Yanshen were chosen as deputy secretaries.

Wang Shouting was also elected secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection at the commission' s first plenary session. Xie Xiulan, Ge Shaolin, Zhou Jiye and Chen Shaoze will be the new deputy secretaries.
