China to Start Anti-Dumping Investigation Against Caprolactam

China will begin an anti-dumping investigation on December 7 against caprolactam imported from Japan, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands and Russia, said the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) Thursday.

MOFTEC, along with China's General Administration of Customs (GAC), will make anti-dumping investigations of caprolactam imports listed under "2933.7100" in the GAC tariff.

In addition, China's State Economic and Trade Commission will, together with relevant departments of the State Council, investigate the damage brought about by such substances to domestic industries.

The investigation is expected to be completed within 12 months, but will be extended to 18 months under special circumstances.
