Food Cure

Like fried walnuts, hot baked sweet potato is a favorite local snack in winter. Besides offering a sweet scent and taste, it is on the list of healthy foods recommended by nutritionists.

The sweet potato contains vitamins, minerals and fiber. The latter stimulates the release of digestive juices and intestinal peristalsis, having the beneficial effect of relaxing the bowels.

Sweet potato is also an anti-cancer food because its carotene, an effective anti-oxidant, can clean away free radicals in the body.

Sweet potato soup

Prepare two sweet potatoes, peel and cut into cubes or slices. Add 500 grams of water and cook until the potatoes become soft. Add dried sweet osmanthus and crystal sugar to taste. Consume the soup twice a day.

Sweet potato rice with fried eggs

Prepare 250 grams of rice, one or two sweet potatoes and four eggs. Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes, then cook with the rice.

Break the eggs and fry with a measure of oil and salt. Mix the sweet potato rice with the eggs.
