China's First Air Credit Card Comes Out

Bank of China (BOC), Shanghai Branch and the China Eastern Airlines jointly issued the Great Wall aviation credit card. Reports say that it has the full functions of a credit card for air transport.

The joint card not only has all the function of the Great Wall credit card, but also provides the card-holders with various services--Eastern Airlines ticket discount service, free consignment for baggage with an additional weight between 5-20 kg, as well as global hotel room reservation. Card-holders can also enjoy the consumption-related preferential treatment for businesses specially invited by the BOC, in certain restaurants, catering, department stores and other trades.

The BOC Shanghai Branch offers "four exemption" services in issuing the first Great Wall Eastern Airlines Card, that is, exemption from any guarantee, the affixing of work unit's seal, payment of earnest money, and payment of first annual fee. This fact demonstrates Shanghai's high credibility and the improvement in the risk control ability of the BOC.
