First “Housing Bank” Made its Debut in Shanghai

When Jinfeng Housing Agency, the first “housing bank” in Shanghai, opened its business April 18, things will become much easier for citizens to let and lease houses. They can “deposit” spare residence in the agency and withdraw rental fees through current deposit bankbooks.

Residents can turn to the agency if they have spare houses to let, but do not like the trouble to find housing-hunters or charge rental fees by themselves. Related departments will set prices for the housing to let according to assessment. Renters can get a current deposit bankbook and property insurance from the agency after finishing related procedures.

Mainly engaged in housing lease and transaction business, the services provided by the agency include 12 items, such as housing ownership transaction, real estate investment managing service and other businesses aside from housing lease. In order to offer better services, the agency has established a cooperative relationship with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Shanghai Branch to provide citizens with mortgage credited loans.
