Exhibition of Ancient Tomb Objects in Xinjiang

An exhibition of burial objects unearthed in the past two decades from ancient tombs in the Niya and Yingpan Ruins in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, opened to visitors in Urumqi Wednesday.

The exhibits include stone, pottery, iron, bronze, gold, textile and silk items, as well as musical instruments and documents.

The exhibition features a female corpse unearthed in 1980, which can be dated back 3,800 years.

The well-preserved corpse is known as the "Beauty of Loulan".
