Two New Models of Red Flag Limousine Debut in Market

China FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd. has recently introduced two new models of Red Flag cars, i.e., "Mingshi" and "Shiba" to the domestic market. The prices of the two models are 169,800 yuan and 158,000 yuan.

As sources say, China has the independent intellectual property rights of the "Red Flag" limousines. Its trademark value hit 4.33 billion-yuan. "Red Flag" enjoys high prestige because it served as special cars for state leaders, foreign heads and important foreign envoys in the olden days.

According to the related persons of FAW-Volkswagen, "Mingshi" and "Shiba" cars inherit the original shape and basic equipment of the "Red Flag". Besides, they have ABS, peach-wood internal furnishings, aluminum alloy wheel rims and pure metal paint. Also available are the closed loop controlling electronic ignition system, triple-catalytic purifier and fuel steam water recycling installation. The tail gas discharged by the two new model-cars reaches the international EU2 standard easily. The electric pole-style aerial of the original Red Flag is also replaced by new window aerial in the two latest models.
