No Mad Cow Disease Found

No cases of the “mad cow disease” have been reported in the country up until now, according to a recently-released appraisal report by the Ministry of Agriculture.

The report attributes the situation to strict administration by the authorities and lack of channel for the disease to develop and spread in the country.

The ministry spokesman said the principal channel for infection is the food chain, where animal fodder, like meat and bone powder, is used in intensive feeding, whereas natural fodder is used in the country.
