New Ruling to Govern Income Tax Collection

The State Administration of Taxation lately has new rules promulgated to guarantee a good job of income tax collection and no loss of taxes from individuals on a unified payroll of government institutions and departments in China.

Following the rules issued, all financial departments (government institutions and administrative units) involved will be held as compulsory agencies responsible for collection of income taxes from the individuals on their payroll. This will be in the way since the individuals are on their payroll and come to have their pay their income taxes must be withheld according to law.
