The Book and Periodicals' Distribution Association of China joined hands with two press companies yesterday to mark World Book Day.
Senior industry insiders including Yang Deyan, vice-chairman of the association and general manager of the Commercial Press, introduced the achievements made by China's book publication and distribution industry at the gathering.
Three thousand books of 800 titles were donated to the Beijing Hongzhi Middle School and China Disabled Persons' Federation at the gathering by Yang's association.
