Love Without Boundary

An international activity sponsored by the Shanghai Charity Foundation, aiming at giving financial help and encouragement to Chinese students from poor families, was recently held in the Shanghai Hilton Hotel. The city has seen 13 such activities in the past years.

Some 127 foreigners and organizations from 16 countries and regions, including the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia and Malaysia, have donated a total of 530,000 yuan to 223 local primary and middle school students good both in character and scholarship.

The photo shows students from the United States talking with Wang Zhen, a Chinese boy who is financially aided.
