A Wealthy Woman in Wuhan

"Try to spend money", Zhao Huaiyu, a rich woman in central China Wuhan City commented, in describing her life's philosophy. According to her, trying to spend money has two traits: enhancing your life quality and promoting the earning of more money. Then she depicted her daily life.

Like most woman, Zhao likes buying clothes. But her wardrobe is very large and very expensive, her most favorite dress cost over 10,000 Yuan. As Wuhan has no outlets of those expensive brands, she does her shopping in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.

Just like her clothes, her car is top of class in Wuhan. In mid-1990's, she bought a Lexus and was told that one was and would remain the only one in the city for at least two years. To her dismay, she found another one half a year later. She almost changed to another model before a friend in car business told her that, although the other one has the same appearance, hers had a unique pipe for exhaustion, the kind only equipped for racing model.

"The more refined, the more details he attends to.”

Zhao believed that quality life should emphasize details and get rid of flaunting. She was particular about her shoes, hairstyle, nail polish, purse and their matching taste. Every morning, her first thing is to decide what to wear.

Zhao was even more knowledgeable of fit keeping than clothes or car. She looked at least ten years younger than her actual age. Hong Kong beauty saloons were the only places she trusted in skin care. Her cosmetics were all top class in the world. She used SK-II and said that though it is over 600 Yuan a small bottle, it is worth it!

In 1999, she fell in love with a dress in Hong Kong. Unfortunately it was too tight on her. She bought it and decided to lose weight to fit into it. She made a special trip to Beijing and tutored by an expert, she lost over 30 pounds at the cost of 20 thousand Yuan fee. Now she can happily fit into that dress. She added that from then on, she began to pay more attention to keeping fit while losing weight. "I buy bird's nest only in Hong Kong and have some every morning," she said.

Zhao has a little hobby in her spare time: collecting perfume. The hobby has lasted for 10 years and she has collected several hundred bottles of well-known perfumes. These are kept among her clothes, so every dress is fragrant.

Zhao said she received 600 Yuan from her former work unit every month. Although it is a small amount, she saved it. For she believed this money is different from that she had earned from her own business, thus, much more valuable.
