First Female Guards To Protect The Capital

Fifty-two female guards, who are from Beijing, Hebei Province, Jiangsu Province, Jilin Province and Heilongjiang Province, started their training courses in the Guards Training Center located in Tongzhou District of Beijing on May 17.

Their training courses will last for one month. They are going to do their duties in the important areas of the Capital after finishing their training in the middle of June as the first female guards of Beijing.

The first female guards of the capital are between 18 and 25 years old and their average height is above 1.65 meters. All of them have senior middle school or technical secondary school diplomas. Registered in the training center on May 16, they are going to have such training courses as guarding theories, military affairs, etiquette and daily spoken English etc.

After finishing their training courses in the middle of June, the 52 female guards will do their duties in Wangfujing, universities and colleges of Beijing and areas around foreign embassies, wearing gray and green clothes.
