Giant Lantern Striking a Pose

A giant lotus-like lantern with a diameter of five meters was installed in the Fuzi Temple Square of Nanjing, east China’s Jiangsu Province, on January 10 to greet the First Qinhuai Lantern Festival of the city.

The lantern weighs over 200 kg. A dozen of local artists took half a month to finish it, using two bolts of cloth and 150 bulbs.
