The Shanghai Municipal government will aid needy college and advanced vocational students with scholarships, part-time jobs and loan guarantees, said Jiao Yang, the government's spokeswoman yesterday.

College and advanced vocational students from other regions of the country can also enjoy all the city students' assistance packages.
