Gibbon and Her Young One

In the picture a gibbon and her newly-born relax in a tree in the Bawangling National Nature Reserve located in south China's Hainan Province in early January. The Hainan Gibbon is one of the most threatened species of primate in the world with only 15 of the animals known to exist in the wild at the nature reserve. They've been allocated top priority conservation status in China.
