Polluted Water Deals a Blow to Fishermen
Adjust font size:

Fishermen net dead fish floating on a fishing pond in Tancheng, east China's Shandong Province April 3. The pollution caused 160,000 yuan (US$20779) of direct economic losses to 16 families of fishermen. Preliminary investigation shows that the fish was killed by polluted water from an alcohol-making factory located in the upper stream.
