62% of Macao Women Fail to Seek Regular Wellness Check-up

Some 61.8 percent of the Macao women do not seek regular wellness check-up, a survey disclosed on Monday.

The poll conducted by the New Chinese Youth Association also displayed that half of the respondents voted uterine cancer as the most feared disease.

The second most feared disease is breast cancer, with 31.9 percent of the votes.

Some 568 valid responses have been received out of the 600 questionnaires that have been distributed to women aged between 15 and 49.
