IBM Sets up E-business Hosting Center in HK
IBM, the world's largest information technology company, announced Wednesday the opening of its e-business hosting center in Hong Kong.

Managed by IBM Global Services, the 12,000-square feet facility is an extension of IBM's traditional data center outsourcing services, with additional capabilities including connectivity to the Internet and related solutions for mission-critical web and e-business operations.

The center offers a full spectrum of e-business hosting services that include e-business hosting services that include e-business consulting, stress testing, ethical hacking, system integration, integration of legacy systems and performance monitoring.

Ringo Cheung, executive of IBM Global Services, Hong Kong, said, "as companies in Hong Kong are increasingly leveraging the internet and e-business to boost productivity and competitiveness, the ability to focus in their core competencies without the need to worry about system requirements and performance is critical."

Hong Kong is the fourth e-business hosting center for IBM in Asia. The other three centers in the region are located in Japan, Singapore and Taiwan.
