Toyota Establishes Investment Company in China
|

Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co. Ltd has been set up in Tianjin, a port city in north China.
The new company, with a 60-member staff and a total registered capital of US$30 million, will invest in future Toyota plants and support the sales activities of Toyota in China. The company plans to set up branches in Beijing and Guangzhou.
Since Toyota Motor (China) Limited was established in June 1993, Toyota has pushed forward various projects to lay a solid foundation for the manufacturing of Toyota cars in China.
