Hotel Groups Join Hands to Explore Chinese Market
Accor, a France-based international hotel operator, and Jinjiang Group, a local hotel giant, agreed to jointly expand their business in Shanghai, China's most vigorous economic center.

Under the agreement, the two groups have set up a joint venture responsible for marketing and distribution.

The joint venture will establish three marketing and distribution centers in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing, respectively, involving 53 Jinjiang hotels and 15 Accor hotels throughout China.

A Chinese-based website will be opened on the basis of the Accor Registration System (ARS).

Accor is one of the world's largest hotel groups, managing 3,700 hotels, travel agencies and restaurants in 90 countries and regions. It also provides services of different kinds to companies and public organizations in 31 nations and regions.
