Wi-Comm Receives Order from China Communications
Canadian wireless data and Internet company Wi-Lan Inc announced this week that its Chinese joint venture, Wi-Comm Communications, will supply China Communications with Wi-LAN's 3.5 GHz BWS 3000 Series, based on W-OFDM technology for deployment in Nanjing.

China Communications is the second customer for a recently announced US$5.9 million purchase order of Wi-LAN's W-OFDM based BWS 3500 system.

Last month, Wi-LAN announced Wi-Comm Communications would supply China Satellite Communications Group (Chinasat) with Wi-LAN's 3.5 GHz BWS 3500 System also for deployment in Nanjing.
